Security & data
AskWise is built for candid internal input. Our default posture is simple: evidence over invention, anonymity where requested, and clear control over who can see what.

Evidence-grounded reporting
Every theme and recommendation is tied to source responses (counts + excerpts). When data is thin or contradictory, the report says so.
Anonymity and thresholds
Anonymous mode is available. We enforce anonymity thresholds so reporting never exposes a single respondent or tiny group.
PII redaction
Report quotes are scrubbed by default to remove obvious personal identifiers before they appear in leadership outputs.
Access control
Workspaces are isolated per organization. Access is role-based, and sensitive report drilldowns respect anonymity settings.
AI processing
AskWise uses OpenRouter as the primary inference gateway and OpenAI as a fallback provider for adaptive follow-ups and report synthesis.
OpenAI states that API data is not used to train their models by default unless a customer explicitly opts in, and that API content may be retained for abuse monitoring for up to 30 days by default, with additional controls (Modified Abuse Monitoring / Zero Data Retention) available for eligible customers.
Retention and deletion
We retain diagnostic data to deliver your report and support follow-ups. You can request deletion of an insight run or an entire workspace at any time.
DPA and security questionnaire: available on request for self-serve workspaces and guided pilots.
